Petrino & Company was founded in 2025 by Ruby and Tom Petrino, a husband and wife team based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Together, they bring curiosity, care, and strong instincts to every piece they handle, guided by the advice and expertise of Tom Petrino Sr., whose decades in the antiques trade enrich their perspective.

Tom
Co-Founder
Tom grew up surrounded by antiques. He learned from his father, Tom Petrino Sr., who runs Time Traveler Antiques and Appraisals in New Jersey.
An experienced dealer in watches, jewelry, coins, art glass, and collectibles, Tom Sr. taught him how to recognize quality, research provenance, and handle objects with care. Early mornings at flea markets and house calls with his dad sparked Tom’s lifelong passion for antiques.
After moving to Boston to complete a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at Boston University, Tom began a career in the tech industry - but his love of antiques, jewelry, and art never faded.
Today, he carries forward that family tradition with his own distinct perspective.
Ruby
Co-Founder
Ruby White brings a lifelong love of art, design, and beautiful objects to Petrino & Company. Originally from Salt Lake City, she grew up with parents who were deeply devoted to the arts.
Her childhood was filled with museum visits, gallery openings, and afternoons spent exploring antique shops around the world. That early exposure shaped her eye and sharpened her appreciation for things that are unique, well made, and full of character.
Ruby moved to Boston to pursue graduate studies in Opera Performance, where she met her husband and future business partner, Tom. While they each built successful careers in Boston’s tech industry, Ruby and Tom shared a desire to create something of their own that was rooted in passion.
Petrino & Company grew out of that shared vision: a business built on curiosity, integrity, and an enduring love for the stories that objects carry.
Tom Petrino Sr.
Special Consultant
Thomas J. Petrino (Tom Senior), brings more than 40 years of experience in buying, selling, and appraising antiques. He is the owner of Time Traveler Antiques and Appraisals, and serves as a trusted advisor to Petrino & Company.
Tom Sr. is a Certified Personal Property Appraiser through the Certified Appraisers Guild of America and is the Acting Appraiser for the New Jersey State Treasury.
His decades of expertise in antiques, jewelry, coins, and fine collectibles help guide our work and provide our clients with confidence that every piece is evaluated with accuracy and care.
